We see those that name the name of Christ but, live not much differently than those that do not know Him. Maybe the cuss, or take the Lord's name in vain, or view pornography or partake of other ungodly things the world has to offer. Quite often when one brings up the Lord's call for us to be holy and live righteous lives, avoiding sin, these said Christians will get real defensive and start throwing terms like "legalism" or "Pharisee" about in a self-defensive mode.

The Word of God tells us to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith.

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Jesus Christ, Himself, said...

Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

And of course there are the universalists that preach universal salvation for all sinners...

How does one know they are a child of God? How does one know they are a new Creature in Christ and are truly saved? This video answers those questions.
