Due to the inactivity of SSU, as well as decline of unions and DBZ in general, SSU may be closing.

The SSU Staff have been discussing on what to do with the union, and we have reached a common conclusion, that closing SSU would be the best decision. Currently, we have not finished discussing about the fate of SSU, and that talks will be continuing on Monday, however, it seems likely that SSU will be closing soon.

SSU will not be deleted, just incase there is ever hope in reviving it (this is unlikely however, once SSU closes, we believe that will be it), and the fact that SSU is one of GS's best unions, it's too good to just be deleted.

I vote we close it down as well.

After much deliberation, and also much personal thought and discussion with officers and members - I must agree that it is time to close the union. The reasons are obvious, there's no need to really go into them.

Even though it's sad day for all, reviving the once legendary union is not an option anymore. So with this last post (I may also do a formal last update on the homepage) I bid the union a fond goodbye.
