OK, so I just got the latest issue of Game Informer, and the cover story was about a new FPS in the CnC series, supposedly called "Tiberium" (and IMHO looks VEEERRY impressive). The weird thing is, it was a 5+ page article, with screenshots galore, and yet I can find NOTHING about it online (not GS, not EA, NOT EVENONTHE GI WEBSITE!). SO, anyone else know anything about this game?
Actually, i saw something about this online a few weeks back. It said that EA were making an official mod for the Crysis engine, but in the C&C world. And you could drive(and fly)in vehicles.
I don't remember where it was, so if you don't believe me, i don't have any proof
Like someone said, considering they've been working on it for 2 years (supposedly), there's very little info around on this - for some reason I can't find the Game Informer issue anywhere around where I live, so thanks for the pictures parrot!
Having never played Battlefield 2142, I can safely say I have NO expectations for this game, except that the graphics better be better than Renegade, and there should be campaigns for BOTH sides.
Well, from reading my own copy of the article, it appears to be a squad based shooter that allows you to take command of several squads of infantry and other assests, such as Titans and Orcas, honestly, this looks to be an interesting game that I'd like to see more of.
An FPS is an FPS. Nothing you can do about the basic elements of it.
Screw the fact that it's EA. Probably half the games ever released have been published by em.
I'm just excited that it's a new C&C shooter.
Well.. I'm not expecting anything from this, really. But true, there is nothing you can do to the basic elements, but adding something new would be good. New games are good, as long as they add something new, not just new to make money.
