this is the only disappointment i get from after playing GOW2,the coolest monster i think in GOW,centaur,was not on GOW2!?!?!?i really hope it would appear back again in GOW3 because the battle with the centaur is one of the highlight when i was playing GOW....now i have to turn back playing GOW to be able to battle the centaur...

~I suppose they were a pretty interesting enemy, one of the cooler ones to be sure, but I thought the fight with them in the Hades chamber area was really aggravating. I do wonder why they aren't in the second game though...

~They were there, if you play the Hades chamber level there's centaurs there. They're like really strong archers that move fast and can smack you. Not fun, but an awesome character design.

The Creatures with the staffs using blades at both ends (Halberds), goat legs and horns...Satyrs.  The new one is a "Champion Satyr".  The Centaurs are an unfortunate loss.  I was hoping they would make it at least into Arena of the Fates...and to fight a "Champion Centaur".

You mean the Fate Sentry (armorless) and Fate Guardian (armored, has axe).  They are pathetic enemies.

No.  They aren't a greek beast of Mythology.  An 'original' to God of War's series like a dropped-boss named Coterus would have been.

Yes these are some cool stuff by the way if they could put the chimera with the snake tail it  into the game would be freaking  awesome.

I like to look around for GoW concept art.  My first hope is gaming sites.  Then I look for the individual artists.  In this case Andy Park. *not hard to find*  There are many others to be found still.  Cecil Kim and Louis Lu were also quite easy to find as I had done that over 2 years ago.  I have yet to find Charlie Wen's work all on one site however..not even a decent gallery of his work...he remains elusive for the moment.

~Until I do find his site I'll just have to keep checking up on the artists I have located.  Andy is due for an update to his gallery..perhaps he'll update sometime this month.

I just watched a walkthrough of The Challenge Of Hades and saw them. Now I remember them. Damn they were annoying!
