The Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots




There's so much to talk bout on this topic so just post your ideas. This game has the potential to be on the PS3 like what MGS2 was for the PS2. So promising, can't wait

Supposed to be last of the MGS series and hopefully as good if not better than MGS3 and hopefully as emotional.

I just hope it lives up to the hype which I really can't see it being a disappointment but then there was MGS2

as long as no introduces another raiden, MGS4 will be the best yet. i'm curious as to PSP connectivity though, will we be able to use it as a codec, or do we control the otacon bot with it? or will it allow us to access hidden content, or detailed character bios? or will it do nothing? it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

There's just alot of stuff that could happen in this game!! We will just have to wait and see if the story is just as powerful and emotional as it was with MGS 3. And since some of the charcters from the first 2 games are coming back, including Raiden and Vamp from MGS 2, it surely looks to be a very wonderful and amazing game!! I noticed while watching the offical Japanese trailer for the game, that Snake will be using the method of equipping the weapon and the knife at the same time, so that he can switch between a gun fight and close proximity encounters, which is part of CQC, which was introduced in MGS 3. I know that there's alot of high expectations for this game, so we will just have to wait and see how it turns out whenever it's released for the PS3.

Like Otacon said at the end of the trailer, "It'll be worth the wait."

My favorite part of the MGS2 game is when Otacon tells Snake that the Philosophers have been dead for centuries...   bom bom bom

  ahh man!! i LOVE how MGS 4 is gona have sum characters coming back, not only from MGS 2, but from MGS 1!!!! thats the best part!!!!

i cant WAIT to see how MERYL and NAOMI are gona look like in next gen, and how they'll contribute to the plot

i swear if this game doenst get AAAA from atleast 2 gaming sites/mags......then this is such a cruel cruel world we live in

  well we dont 100% know that yet....b/c if u have seen the MGS 4 character art work(by Yoji Shinkawa) u notice that theres a skinny, almost dead looking person on the far right(and he has an eye patch on his right?!?!?) and he also looks terribly burned, almost like a zombie!!!!

im sorry but if i EVER see B.B. as a zombie in MGS 4, it'll be the worst MSG game ever(well the only worst MGS game)
