I rented Ninja Gaiden Sigma for my PS3, can't set it down. Shame I have to pack for my trip to Phoenix tonight and tomorrow. Not really much time for playing Sigma.
The only thing worse than being sick one day and throwing up everywhere is the next day you feel like you just got hit by a Mac truck. And I'm still sick. Nowhere near as bad as yesterday though, whew.
got a 360 today........playing more dead rising........just can't stop
welcome to the club ,make sure you get Gears of War also. Are you getting xbox live?
.........no, I don't think dual isdn is supported since it's still a dial-up connection
well get a better internet company so we can play
meh, been trying for years -I was playing pro BF1942 on this ****y connection back in the day-.......oh well, only living here for another year. Also, I almost have a local wifi company hacked, so if that pans out I'll have 5mbps connection free

I got a ticket for no insurance when I had my accident last month, despite having insurance. There were insurance papers but I didn't have the papers for that period. I had switched them out for papers that I had received a couple days before because my renewal was coming up in a couple days.
Anyway, I was told to take the new papers down to the police station and show them and things would be taken care of. I did that. But, I apparently had a court date, which I missed today. I shouldn't have had to go to the court date, but I received a call saying I missed it.
Where I had insurance and I showed the police I had insurance, there should be nothing wrong. However, where I "failed to appear at court" I could have to pay $750. Will I have to pay that considering the ticket is bogus anyway?

when the court calls you go,that is always a must.It would not have hurt to do it cause it still could have saved you the trouble of having to pay for the ticket. But since you didn't go to court when you got called in it would be good for you to go ahead and pay the money.

The "court" didn't call. The police officer that wrote me the ticket called. I mean I showed them the information like I was instructed to do. I don't know what more they wanted.

Around here, you get 4 hours of jail time for missing a court date. You know when you think about it, I rather do that than pay $750.
Okay, my life has officially hit the bottom. I check my checking account balance this morning and $450 was pulled out for something I have no idea about. The bank isn't going to do anything about it either. Where's a short cliff, I need to take a long walk.

Go down there and demand an answer, if they don't give you one get a lawyer.

Ha...I've dug halfway to China. My 360 has been freezing and now has squares that'll fill the screen. I've read on GAF it's on its last leg. I can't play ANY 360 game other than Arcades without it crashing. *sigh*
Calling 1-800-4MY-XBOX. Giving them hell right now. It's actually rather ammusing. I told her that I can either get a new system within a couple weeks for free or I'll not only publish a story exposing the faults of the 360, I'll gather a lot of people and form a class-action lawsuit which I'll win because there is a known problem and then her and everybody else that are low level employees will be out of a job. I think she's actually scared.
I still say the 360 is the best console, puts the PS3 to shame. But the hardware difficulties are problems. And the customer service is utter crap. Guy honestly threatening me saying that if I don't back off, they won't repair my console. Then he said "sometimes things happen and they get lost in transit."

360 better games but PS3 will soon overtake the 360. Metal Gear Solid w00t

As a console alone, I think 360 is probably the best value, but everything around it is extortion or tailored for the rich. I was going to blog about this earlier today, but this presents a better, quicker option.
First, why force us to buy crap on the fatx file system, it's proprietary crap that is essentially the same as the basic fat32 system only storing less. Simply allowing the fat32 system to run would allow people to actually afford hard drives or at least release MS should release a system for creating fatx formats on existing fat32 drives.
Two, the games are often designed for large, high definition television without options for anything else, while large, high-definition tv owners are a minority of the xbox 360's players. Aside from the obvious examples [Dead Rising text, etc...] I've noticed that games on the 360 often only allow one pre-fabricated camera setting, case-in-point Top Spin 2. The game puts the pc on the near side of the court as well as the far court, while the camera is static on the near court. This presents the problem of not being able to react; thus killing any realistic or, at times, fun aspects of the games.
Third, there are no firewire ports, but four USB 2.0 ports. I for one greatly prefer Firewire for its greater security and increased speed and don't want to try to buy more new stuff for USB 2.0 and xbox 360. Luckily I got a free 1gb USB mem stick, so this no longer presents a problem, but it could have.
Four, Xbox live is 256k plus, as a student I don't have the money to pay for xbox live, a fast internet connection, netflix and new games every month. Why not offer an alternative via. free, user-based servers for everybody; simple, extortive profit on a monopoly.
Five, you have to pay to distribute games. As a game developer, this is extremely disheartening; I've always been able to get free hosting from the software and games I've created, why not let people host their own games and software at no cost?
