It seems that most of these websites (gamespot, ign, giantbomb) all do horribly at actually keeping up with which games are actually coming up(unless they are AAA titles.) Anyone have any suggestions on how to remedy that problem or a better website to check out for that?

I disagree. I track games that probably only 2% of the gaming populace has ever heard of right here on GS.

- I'm with LikeHaterade here, GS release calender is great, and the main reason I joined the site years ago. From there you can find reviews, previews, and other site reviews for most any game.

whilst doing the weekly grosery shopping I always spend ten or 15 minutes reading through gaming mags, it's suprising how many future releases I've spotted... don't buy em, just read em !

That's part of the reason I have a subscription to Game Informer. It does a great job of looking at the games that are a ways off, but looking good.

Gamespot does provide pages for many if not most upcoming games, but you really have to dig to find them. You have to slowly browse through each week, and then browse through the next week and so on. Either that, or you just rely on the Top10 list, which isn't enough. I guess I'm thinking more along the lines of something like Giantbomb's games database, where you can browse upcoming games pretty easily in an easily sortable list. The problem with Giantbomb is that they are just missing tons of games from their database. I know Gamespot kind of has that function, where you can just list all games and sort by release date or whatever, but that process is not at all intuitive and the release dates are often not updated. I will admit that I'm in love with the game tracking though. I might have to pic up a magazine sub too. I do miss reading through them sometimes.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

I've found Game Informer to be pretty good for early information about games. A year's subscription runs $15 through GameStop, and you get a discount card, called Edge, that gives you 10% off used games and accessories.
