how much do you think MS payed for that franchise and dev. cost of the first game? (its a trilogy with too human 2 probably comming outaround 2011 unless E3 says otherwise)

20 million? 30 million? 80 million dollars were payed by MS. it only sold a little over half a million copies thats about 25 million dollars profit. the next too human is in Dev. hell with its only hope really hanging on "MS give us another chance."

do you think the game deserves another chance?

Why would people buy the second one if they didn't buy the first one? yes I know they could buy the first one if they were really interested in the second but how many people are going to do that?

If it made money for MS , then they wouldn't be so hung up on giving the go ahead for the sequel.

As much as the first one wasn't all that great, I say give them a second chance. There's always been surprising results. It worked for Killzone 2.

I'd very much like to see Too Human Too.

I do think S.K. can and will do much better with the sequel, also I'm one of the few it seems who thought the first one was better then what GS scored it.

Sounds like what happened to the first Killzone. If the dev can get their act together, then there may still be a sequel.

There's no time to be rational or diplomatic. I'd rather have it wild like National Geographic.

Sequels are routinely better in video games. Sure, the first TH was an abhorrent pile of junk, but the second one could well deliver on the promise of the original. Look at Killzone and Killzone 2. I don't know if I believe that $80 million was spent on that game. I don't see how it's even remotely possible. Also if $80 million was spent developing the game, and it sold 500,000 copies @ $60 each it would have lost a considerable amount of money, it certainly wouldn't have seen "about 25 million dollars profit". I call BS on the whole thing.
Apparently I need a sig for people to read my posts.

You are not alone. Despite it's flaws, it was nowhere near as bad as the interwebz made it out to be. There is a solid foundation to build upon from what the first one started and to say it cannot be done is folly. Just look at Killzone 2 as a recent example. If Guerrilla Games can do it, Silicon Knights sure as hell can.

    i'm going to buy it

i LOVED the first one...i didn't look at "oh ten years in development, it BETTER be good" cause the game we received wasn't in development for ten years, the game changed like 3 times completely...what we go was nothing like the first initial idea for the game and no one seems to realize that...they're just blinded with the word ten

ANYWAYS...yea i really liked the gameplay, story was meh...but the gameplay was just amazing IMO, walking through dungeons and just flying up to enemies faces and slashing them down, it was entertaining to say the least

a very solid 7/10 for me

the second can only get better i think

Exactly....this game was only in the works for roughly 14 years. Originally slated for the N64, moved to the Gamecube and then transferred over to the 360.
