So it's been close to five years since Bloodlines came out and Troika subsequently closing up shop. Was there any news at the time of the publisher retaining rights to the Vampire IP or was it picked up by someone else? I just went through VTMB and finished a few days ago, and even all this time later I'm enchanted by the game despite the flaws it has. I think this is an IP that has untapped potential and deserves a quality sequel done with modern technology. If it has anywhere near the atmosphere and immersion that I felt from this five year old game it would be fantastic. Don't you wish more games could feel this "fresh"?

CCP (The creators of Eve Online) is currently working on a world of darkness mmo.

Yeah, VTMB is one of my favorite rpg games of all time. It's easily in my top five. I would be highly interested in a sequel. As an aside, I wish the Advent Rising series would have been realized. The initial game didn't sell very well, so the series wasn't pursued.

When was this announced, or how long has it been in development?

Hmm. Long wait, but I feel a little better knowing this IP didn't slip through the cracks into oblivion. I guess I know what I'm playing in 4-5 years.
