    So basically i am building a gaming rig in a tight budget and i've settled on the XFX 4890 1gb card. I was just wondering are there any cards that perform very close/faster in the budget range of the XFX card by anychance?

    The XFX card costs 255 Australian so anywhere between that and 300 AUS is probley best, cheers guys.

    $300 AUS is about $260 USD, which is the price of a HD 5850. Try to get your hands on that.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
    AMD Athlon x2 64 5600+ 2.8 GHz
    Sapphire Radeon HD 4850
    3GB DDR2 667
    Corsair 400w
    I just checked the AUS Prices for the 5850 and they were 390 Australian dollars, so unfortunately that card won't be going in my rig anytime soon
    Thanks anyway, any other suggestions anyone?
