Seriously, I can't leave the house without seeing someone with an Affliction tshirt or Tapout shirt on talking about MMA. Its kinda funny because none of these guys look like they train and talk about MMA like they do it for a living.

I try going to the mall without seeing one of these guys, but seriously they are everywhere.

I like watching UFC, but would never wear any of the brand names linked to the sport.

I don't think it will die down, their is always the first time watchers who are like, I can do that, YEAH KICK ASS !!! So they go out shave their head get a tattoo buy the t-shirt hit the gym and usually walk funny.

I have two Tapout shirts, a Tapout sweatshirt, and a Tapout hat. I don't talk or act like I'm any tougher than I actually am.

    The clothes...hopefully soon

The sport...it will be along time
Boxing was mega popular for about 100 years
MMA is the next evolution of that...

I don't know why there's such a fascination with watching sweaty men hugging and laying on each other for 3 five minutes rounds.

MMA has been around for a long time (depending on how old you are probably before you were born) - its only been recently commercialized. It is a money making industry and that is what naturally happens.

Do all of you have problems with people wearing sports jerseys talking about the various sports? What's the difference?

The actual sport is fine with me; the part I hate is the annoying fake fanboys of it who go around acting like they're able to beat anyone up just because they saw one match. What the sad part is, they've tried to do it to some of my friends on the wrestling team, and they (my friends) could wipe the floor with their asses.

Its incredible how when people are afraid of liking something they instantly play the homosexual card.

Both are great respectable sports that bring different things to the table. I always find it silly that people like to have the two "fight".

Yeah, it's pretty big these days, at least here in the U.S. and Canada. I suppose it will die down once something more dangerous becomes the next great popular sport, or maybe just gets the hell marketed out of it.

I wonder what created this impression of mma for you. Maybe an unfortunate selection of mainly wrestling based fighters?

To me it seems like mma would take more balls than boxing. Since the though of something like a flying knee counter during an attempted takedown is ten times scarier than anything in boxing.
