NEW SONG TO SING: INDESTRUCTIBLE - Updates to Follow

Yes, we are going to be singing the so-bad-it's-good theme song for Street Fighter 4: Indestructible!

If you have any other recommendations, then feel free to post them. If there are no objections, we'll follow through with this. I'll keep everyone posted and frosty on the subject soon.

Snake Eater will also be getting updates soon so we can start building up to version 2.00.

Version 1.00 of the GameSpot Compilation Snake Eater is COMPLETE. This version includes the bare bones of the song, but still sounds pretty kick-ass. I'll make a list soon specifically of what parts we need to make this sound even epic-er, but for the mean time, enjoy the first ever GameSpot Snake Eater Compilation song!

Whatcha' Talkin' About?

That's right, because I know how awesome each and every one of you are, we will all sing Metal Gear Solid 3's (and MGS4's) theme, "Snake Eater" as a loving family.

This is a compilation song, with the voices of you guys all put into a song. At the end, I should be able to edit together all of our parts with the Snake Eater backtrack behind it.

Don't be shy! Pull out your Rock Band microphones, dist off your crappy headset mic set - sing, sing, SING AWAY! There is almost no quality control, and I promise to include you in the song if you participate and follow the guidelines listed below! I have faith in you all to give a kick ass performance. I'll post the audio file on YouTube and via downloadable file at the very end when we have met the requirements to fulfill the epicness that is Snake Eater.

Upload an mp3 audio clip of you singing a line (or more?) of Snake Eater and post the URL here via file hosting site such as mediafire. I will download it.

Any lines with NO people doing the vocals yet have a light-green font. Please try to fill these roles before moving onto already-sung lines. Any lines with red font has one person already doing the vocals. Any lines with blue font already has two people doing the vocals. Any lines with dark-green font already has three people or more with vocals. There is no vocal limit for whipsering Snake Eater or screaming Snake Eater, so these will remain in its default light-green colors.

I would like pretty much one or two users per line in the above lyrics.

There is absolutely no limit to the number of people who can scream "SNAAAAAAAKE EEEAAAAAAAATEEEERRR!!!" So feel free to include that even if you have done another line.

There is also a high demand for people who can whisper "Snake Eater" in a sexy voice.

Guidelines

Even though there is no quality control or regulations regarding your singing or the quality of your mic, we do have a few rules to make sure the editing process goes smoothly.

1. Try to keep your voice as clean as possible. This means that even if you are singing to the backtrack (which is recommended to keep the tempo and timing), try using headphones or low volume settings to avoid any audio from the backtrack leaking into your own solo audio performance.
2. Sing loudly - be proud and sing loud!
3. Have fun - it doesn't matter what you think of your own singing. Just do it for fun, because this is what it is - for fun!
4. Include what line you are singing when you post the URL to download your audio file.

I was listening to that theme just this morning before church... the coincidence here is really scary.

Oh yeah, so which sexy whispering are you talking about? Is it the (snake eater) background part?
