Resident Evil 4. Not only was it an amazing and sometimes frightening game, it also revolutionized the third-person shooter genre as we know it. Hell, GTA4 even took the game's aiming system (badly, I might add).

Dr. Salvador FTW!

I don't think GTA4 deserved it either, but RE4? I always thought Resident Evil was about "survival/horror" (it says so even on the back of the RE4 box), but sadly RE4 eschews all of that for an actionfest filled with even more poorly scripted dialogue and a laughable and unrelated story. The only thing it added to the series was the much improved camera angle, which I'm glad they're implementing in RE5. Hopefully it'll retain a sense of mystery and danger, unlike RE4 where I felt I was playing a dumbed down TPS.
At least it looked pretty when it came out, and had a nice presentation.- Please wait. Quick reply will be available shortly.

[/QUOTE]Are you kidding? RE4 fixed all of the problems from the previous games and added creative new enemies. And who can say that the regenerators didn't scare the hell out of them.
