Sticky Colour.

    With the forums the stickys are always on top but some times a forum might get to many stickys appearing on top. Sometimes there are so many you may not notice any new sticky post and scroll past them to get to user posts.
    As stickys are generally to do with "official" discussions and temporary rule changes I propose that stickys have a set of colours to designate generally what the sticky regards. For example:

    Red: Must read Important rule change or condensed discussion topic.

    Blue: Contains user uploaded images relating to a topic. (Gaming set-ups etc.)


    I feel that different colours will cath the users attention compared to being a darker shade of orange to regular posts. This will make the mods jobs a bit easier as users will be more inclined to notice new sticky posts.They will also have the option to decide what colour to make each sticky.

    Please feel free to comment on this idea. Add your own ideas and please point out anything you feel may be a problem with this.

    If a thread has images in it and they want to create a warning, they can do what other forum systems do and have a small "
    IMG" icon display after the thread title. Or they can integrate it some other way.

    I say it would look better if the stickies were in a lime color. So, it'd be easier for people to read.

    I was going to say that. But you have to remember when users use a White backround Lime would be hard to see too but none the less I still think Lime should be used for when there is a new post and this feature should be added to Unions sticky topics also.

    I was going to say that. But you have to remember when users use a White backround Lime would be hard to see too but none the less I still think Lime should be used for when there is a new post and this feature should be added to Unions sticky topics also.
