"We saved The Boss for last. Not only was she Big Boss's hot female mentor, she was also the original bearer of the series' legendary action mullet. She's a jumble of weird contradictions: an American defector who wields a gun called "The Patriot," rides a horse, wears a colonial cape, and is dressed in a silver astronaut's suit. Meanwhile, her pupil, Naked Snake (Big Boss) swears they weren't lovers, just that they invented CQC (close quarters combat) together. That's hot. And so is your battle against her. It takes place in a beautiful field of flowers, where she hunts you with her Patriot as you slither unseen. After she's slain, you learn she was ordered to die a traitor for the United States, yet remained loyal to the end. Of all the bosses in Metal Gear, she may be The Best."

Geez, what the heck? Do you have no respect for this character? She's the most noble and honourable character and all you can talk about is her hotness?

If Greg was around, he'd set this article backwards and in its right place. I'm absolutely disgusted by this article. It's like the person who wrote it never even played the game.

Well, I haven't played any MGS since the first one, but just going by those descriptions, the story doesn't make any god damn sense.

I read through most of it thinking "What - the - hell?" What sort of drug-induced hallucination is this series supposed to be?

There was sexual tension between snake and The Boss in MGS3, so the hotness will probably be mentioned. I'm not sure why you think greg kasavin will somehow save the day here and nitpick that detail.

If you seen the video review of how Greg describe The Boss, yes he would.

And for those who say "Who cares?" obviously means Gamespot did a bad job of making that article.

    Uh, not really

    1. GS takes a more comical approach to things that aren't news, previews, or reviews (unless they're something like Big Rigs, or talking about a funny game)
    2. They're talking about a videogame.
    3. They're talking about a game series that doesn't take itself too seriously.
