Okay, I would have to disagree on that. If the Assassin attempted to assassinate a Dark Templar, there are two ways this could end up in.

1. The Assassin succeeds in killing the lone Dark Templar.

OR!

2. The Assassin fails to kill, and alerts the Dark Templar to your presense. The Assassin's only protection is the shadow. An Assassin can't wear heavy armor because it limits his movements. It also can make noise, which is a bad element when being stealthy. Light Armor is the preferred choice, because it offers the least protection, while allowing you freedom.

Once the Assassin's presense has been given away, what else can the Assassin do? The Assassin isn't capable of fighting a direct fight because other classes like the Dark Templar are heavy armored, with weapons that can deliver severe damage.

For the Assassin to be effective, he must have these essential items, while not carrying other equipment that could weigh him down, like claymores for example.

1. Daggers (Daggers are lightweight and easy to wield then long swords)

2. Light Armor (Light armor still weighs some, but not by a lot that can hinder you, and can offer minor protection against cuts, scratches, ect...)

3. Foot ware (No boots, because they can make even the slightest noise. Normal foot ware are better because they allow total freedom. Just make sure not to hit your toe and you'll be fine)

4. Color clothing (Don't wear bright clothing; that makes you a target. Dark clothing is important, and armor too)

5. Masks (Cover your head, but with holes to see through and breathe. You don't want anyone to know who you are, and it makes you blend in more with your dark environment.

So what happens when your spotted? You run! If you decide to fight head on, your as good as sliced meat. Then the Dark Templar proceeds to laugh at your corpse.

I just figured out the number of votes before the page reloads. I counted 13 votes before the page reloaded. I tested it, to make sure that it wasn't random. And it doesn't seem to be a bug with the site. It looks to be set to the number 13. I'm still not sure why the page must reload. I just think its supposed to delay you from posting a lot.

So why do they allow you to vote as many times as you want? Isn't that a flaw in the system? Or is it to show who voted this amount of times? It says I voted 63 times, but I believe I voted more then that. I've been voting constantly, like I had no life. (lol)

Perhaps if you play PvP in solo the guardian is the best but when you'll play with your guild on Ts and stuff like that I dont think It will be the most powerfull char.

If any of you guys was in beta you would know all soldier type classes was way to powerfull i used guardian and conquer on PVP event i died once ( with guardian) of over 30 pvp battles 1vs 1 guardian just to tough for all other classes to kill him. i used spear most of the time .

im hoping this game is gonna be epic win, and not epic failure like so many other mmorpg's before it, and thatll ill be able to do /dance with my horror minions.

The dark templar sounds CAS but the conqueror or assassin allows for the most user control and will probably be the most popular. Demonologist? cool name, average sounding abilities

I like the Dark Templar. I like the idea that it can deal decent damage and offtank with self healing.

I think its the assassin because if you get the jump on someone when your in stealth no matter what the class is chances are their going down

Besides, this "poll" is flawed on so many levels that it's a joke. Being forced to vote on issues (in this case, classes) that you have little or no opinion of in order to be able to vote on one that you do care about, in what is likely an effort to make the results appear more balanced, is statistically flawed - especially when the subject matter is based on subjective opinion. Following on the above, seeing as how less than 1% of the people likely to vote on this "poll" are in the closed beta (and therefore have any real idea what they're voting on), this "poll" fits the bill for being based almost entirely on subjective opinion.

The fact that you then must be allowed to vote more than once because of the flawed voting method is also statistically flawed. Therefore, it is not difficult to see that this "poll" is statisically meaningless (or "bollocks", for you Brits) to begin with.

In short, to all those people complaining about what impact I, or anyone else who eventually out-votes me, have on this "poll" - quitcherb*tchin.

My first thought was to not vote for my favourite class so it doesnt get nerfed!!!!

I don't get it why people try to promote their favourite class. I don't want to play the most common class. The best thing would be if I could play a class that no one else could play, so I was completely original.

Note the "RETURN to the battle and KEEP supporting your odds on FAVORITE...." This poll was designed to be voted on repeatedly - therefore it had no credibility to begin with.
