ach year, in the aftermath of GameSpot's Best and Worst, we extend the opportunity to all our users to participate in our annual Readers' Choice Awards. We consistently find that our readers' collective tastes are as discriminating and refined as our own when it comes to games. With over 400,000 votes compiled in just under three weeks, the Readers' Choice Awards are the largest ever. Using methods of almost exact science, we've assembled the top five games in each category, and then picked the winner based on the overall number of votes it received.

We've also included a breakdown of what percentage of the total votes the top five got, so you can see if it came down to a blow-out or the closest of calls.
