Pac-Man the videogame!
Namco hasn' t been praised enough, Namco indeed hasn't beeen praised enough for THIS game. Actually videogame industry was born officially with this surprising game. For first time in the world newspapers began to talk about videogames, it was really Pac-Man craze. It is one of few games really appreciated by everybody, from you serious gamer, from family, from girls! Yes Pac-Man is loved from the girls well not as loved as his sequel Ms. Pac-Man, but it is exactly same game. Namco, a big arcade games company, will be remembered above all for this masterpiece that is its flagship.
The play system puts you on control of a large yellow pizza face in a maze. inside maze we find a small house where four nice ghosts go outside to hunt the yellow muncher that has to eat small yellow pellets (10 points each one) to complete level. At each corner you have one yellow booster slighty larger, when you finally eat it you get temporary invincibility that allows you to chase ghosts, at time turned blue, and simply devour them. This tecnique is essential to reach high scores: 1 ghost = 200 points, 2 ghosts = 400 points and go on multiplying for 2. Excellent!!!. Needless to say yohave to hurry up cause you have limited invincibility and later on levels is reduced, moreover speed increase slighty.
This is the best Port that you can buy unless that you are really lucky to own an original arcade machine.
THis game is immortal.
