    Pac-Man Fever!

When I was a kid, arcades were the place to be. All the kids in town flocked to them and around them. It was the after-school and weekend joint for everyone I knew, and we made the most of it. It was a virtual holy templ... Read Full Review

    Pac-Man Fiasco!

I remember Christmas 1981 so well. It was a season of anticipation for one of the few gifts I wanted that year -- a copy of the Atari 2600 port of "Pac-Man". That game had literally dominated the arcades since ... Read Full Review

    Chompa chompa chompa

This is a classic that is everywhere in our society. Pac-Man is in video games, arcades, movies, television, music, etc . . . This icon is ageless, even though the original game was so simple. In Pac-Man the objecti... Read Full Review

Pac-Man tries eating dashes instead of dots!

I am in the minority on this game. Most reviews I have ever read about this game talk about how terrible it is. Now, compared to the arcade version of Pac-Man, there is no comparison. Maybe it's nostalgia. But this i... Read Full Review

Not as good as other versions...

Despite the fact that I played this well after its time and the graphics dont seem to good, so it makes it hard to judge as I have no idea what the standard for games were back then, altough it was a fairly fun game that... Read Full Review

Oh, Namco, Namco, Namco...What WERE you thinking?!

The hype of Pac-Man making the jump to the 2600 is not unlike the rumble created from any upcoming Zelda game now. The roar was furious. Stores were preselling the game [the first time ever in history, if memory serves... Read Full Review

Good-old classic Pac-Man done in the worst way possible. This home-version tarnishes the Pac-Man legacy.

Most everyone on the planet knows the concept behind Pac-Man. Chomp all the little balls and avoid the ghosties to progress. This is his first trip into gamer's homes, and it certainly leaves a bad taste. The levels n... Read Full Review

When memories meld... melt, catch on fire and turn to dust in the wind.

I was five. It was that age when days collide and distractions come easy. I was standing in the video game isle looking up at the demo 2600 -- mesmerized by the lights My brother and father had gone to the counter... Read Full Review

    A lazy version of Pac-Man

It could of been so much better. The gameplay is the same basic rules of the arcade Pac-Man; run around eating all the pills and avoiding ghosts. Super pills turn all the enemies blue and allows you to eat the ghosts... Read Full Review

It could have been great if not for the glitches

In the annals of Video Game history there are two games that stand out as the epitome of the worst the Video Game Industry has the offer: The Atari 2600 ports of Pac-Man and ET. Between the two Pac-Man is the better made... Read Full Review

That sound you hear is the groans of disappointed children.

Atari has brought Pac-Man home to their 2600 console system, but it is near unrecognizable and a terrible waste of money. People expecting this game to be near its arcade counterpart will be sorely disappointed. Even co... Read Full Review
