Since the beginning of video games, Pac-Man hasn’t always been at the top of the charts. In this case, Pac-Man Racing has reached for the top. This year, Atari has decided to explore new horizons with Pac-Man: racing. One wouldn't expect child-like graphics, but to me, these graphics are quite acceptable. Take note of Pac-Man Racing’s game mode; it has, let’s say… many of the assets found in Mario Kart 64. In fact, it’s an exact replica of Mario Kart 64, and, because it’s a winning formula, Atari seized the opportunity to revive the series. As for the soundtrack, I found it quite impressive; I wasn’t expecting to hear remixes of old Pac-Man tunes… with a techno-flavor. In general, I must say that I was very impressed as I didn't think that Atari would make such a meteoric comeback. So, I could say that the company succeeded, because this game has me hooked.
