A great game if you like platformers, a great game if you like Pac-Man, and a better game if you like both.

User Rating: 8.5 | Pac-Man World 3 PSP
This is simply a really really fun game that is overlooked by too many people.

GAMEPLAY: Mostly the movement doesn't vary from that of a standard platformer---there's jumping, running, climbing, swinging, punching, and bouncing. But some aspects unique to Pac-Man games only, like special Power Pellets that give you special abilities for a certain amount of time, constantly chomping on yellow dots, or playing as ghosts from the Spectral Realm all separate this game from a generic platformer. Solving puzzles while playing as Pinky and Clyde (two ghosts) is especially interesting and fun because they can do things that most every-day platform characters can't, like solidify ghost platforms that only they can see or unleash massive bursts of spectral energy that can topple gigantic pillars. Those of you who loved running from the ghosts and gobbling them up when they turned blue, never fear, for this game has plenty of that. Every once in a while random portals will open up and ghosts will come out and Power Pellets will appear. The only thing is, Pac-Man is temporarily in an alliance with the ghosts, so the things you'll be running from (and eating after you've gotten a Power Pellet) will be called Spectral Monsters. In addition you can search for a hidden entrance to a classic 2D Pac-Man maze on each level. Overall I'd give the gameplay 8/10

GRAPHICS: There's nothing amazing here, but the graphics don't take away from the experience except for a few places where the lighting is weird. The graphics get 7/10.

SOUND; The sound is excellent. The voice acting (yes, Pac-Man and friends talk now) is great, and all the sound effects come from the original Pac-Man where possible. The music is good too. I give the sound 9/10

VALUE: The single player mode isn't very long or challenging and you'll probably get through it in a couple weeks. I haven't tested out multiplayer yet, but you play with only one UMD. The levels are fun enough that some people might go back and play them again. The value gets a 6/10.

STORY: Not the most enthralling or original story in the world, but this game isn't about the story, it's about the fun. The story is 6/10.

One more thing: Some people will think this is just a Pac-Man-themed platformer, which it is, but it's more. It gives you the same feeling you get from playing the original maze-based Pac-Man. It may be because of the original sounds or the sometimes unique gameplay or something else, but the whole time it feels like you're play Pac-Man.
