Great gameplay, Great story, Horrid conclusion.

But, even with the small map, the game remains fun. When I get into a random shootout on this game, it can go for nearly half an hour, and I won't get bored with it. The shootouts in this game surpass any other game I've ever played, because, in most other games, you are either killed too quickly, or the enemies go down to quickly. In this one, it's fair play, the enemies aren't too strong, and you aren't too weak.
Now, the storyline. The storyline was very strong, and had several characters in it. But, alot of those characters didn't appear more than twice, in the storyline. Yes, they did appear alot in the sidemissions, but, if the storyline was really going to be strong, then it should have had all of the characters introduced have an important role. Also, antagonists in this game hardly ever appear, and, out of four, only one is killed. Even the traitor isn't killed, and if anything, he would be the first I would expect to see die. And then, at the end, when you kill the "Main antagonist", you don't even go through much difficulty. Just a single bullet to the head.
When the characters were introduced in this game, they were introduced quickly, with hardly any story to them. Even the guy that was supposed to be Sean's best friend wasn't given any backstory whatsoever. The ending also didn't do justice to the game, since so many loose ends were left.
To sum up, The Saboteur was a game that no person should keep themselves from. But, if someone wants a game that, when it ends, it actually ends, then they will be disappointed with the storyline. But, don't let that stop you from buying the game, and enjoying the fun gameplay, even outside of the missions.
