Now I can play Pac-Mania on the crapper!

User Rating: 8.5 | Pac-Man Collection GBA
I've eyed this cartridge in the used section for some time now, and after seeing the great reviews on it, I finally gave into buying another Namco collection. I'm such a patsy for collections, it's sad really.

But my own addictions aside, I was pleasantly surprised that I finally found a Namco collection on the GBA that's above par what you might expect. There's only four games on this cartridge, but the fact that each game is so solid in value, it's hard to argue against it. At a used price, since it was a discount game to begin with, is just another perk.

I nearly laughed my junk off when I played Pac-Man Arrangement for the first time; it's like the little yellow bastard took some acid and really had at it. It's got to be the most innovative Pac-man I've seen yet. There's warp-jump panels, dash tackling, super ghosts with super powers when they combine, etc. It's really hard to explain without playing it. It really is Pac-Acid.

Pac-Mania is just another reason to buy this game. The first time Pac-man entered the 3D realm was golden from the start, Jumping over the ghosts adds exciting strategy--having the amount of ghosts in the maze multiply the farther in game you go is always hectic and fun--it's really hard to go wrong with such a great classic. It's a shame this sequel to Pac was never a popular choice in the many Namco Museums.

Then of course we can't forget the original Pac-Man and Pac-Attack. Pac-Attack is the fresh break from the maze chasing and a nice novelty break away from the Tetris-style formula. While Pac-Man, is well… Pac-Man.

Out of all the Namco collections in the world; it's nice to see a game/compilation like this. It's a must have for any wait at the bus stop or handheld gamer. It's overall a great/humble collection of some solidly addicting games.

Kudos Pac-Man, you've yet again proven to be one of the video game greats.
