Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde return to thwart Pacman's furious feeding addiction in Pacman Championship Edition.

User Rating: 8.5 | Pac-Man Championship Edition X360
Pacman is a title that echoes throughout generations as an Arcade Classic. With such a classic game, you'd think trying to perfect it for release on the Modern "Next Gen" platforms would be a tough job. Especially if you don't want to ruin it. However, Namco have done a great job on this title.

The first thing you'll notice are the visuals. The visuals are simply beautiful. They're shiny, luminescent, colourful and they still resemble the classic look of Pacman. No complaints there. The sound again is great. Still keeping all the classic "Wokka Wokka" noises but softened so they're not as sharp on the eardrums. Music in the background also adds to the feel of this game.

In this game, it's all about racking up the highest score in the time limit given to you. The maze is mirrored on both sides, however dots will only appear on one side at a time. Each time you eat fruit on one side, all the dots will appear on the other side of the maze. The longer it goes on, the faster the gameplay speeds up, making it more furious the longer you play. There's Championship modes and Extra modes which give you different mazes and time limits.

All in all this gem is not one to be missed. If you're not entirely convinced about buying it then you should definitely play it at least once before making your decision. Pacman Championship Edition is a great addition to any gamer's collection, retro lovers or otherwise. 8.5/10
