Fun, addictive, and a very nice improvement over the first!
Thankfully, this game pulled through and delivered on all of my expectations.
In a broad, general sense, its basically the same formula as the first game. Gather these evil little bastards, break things, horde gold, pimp out your gear and evil lair, then repeat. Kinda like a really messed up version of Pikmin.
While satisfying enough in its own right, its really the polish and tiny little details that give this game its edge, and will leave you grinning and chuckling as your evil little bastards swarm over guards and monsters, and hop back so happily to you with treasure and lifeforce as they had before.
Even more magical spells, better looking armor and weapons, and a very, very awe-inspiring evil lair await you and your dark schemes.
While your minions are still a little.. 'downs syndrome' at times, they're noticeably more responsive and actually have a few new perks of their own now.
A sort of 'leveling up' system, and a graveyard to ressurect your dead minions adds a slightly different way to do things.
Definatley a must play for anyone who has an inkling for destruction and chaos. :)
Its never felt so good to be bad.
