From my first hour of gameplay I knew it was one of a kind and it impressed me.
The questions"I wonder what that does;I wonder what does minions can do" just keep coming back until the end of the game as it is so great and highly unrepetitive
Sure it has times where it gets frustrating(*SPOILER* That goddamn wall-walking Spider puzzell after defeating the spider queen and retrieving the Green hive) but it can all be sorted out with trial and error.
You might not realise it at the very beginning but will understand in time that there is not much economy you must do in order to achieve anything you want in the game:)
There are incredibly fun parts where you posses minions and walk around areas where you couldn't possibly go as the overlord...and desguise your minions to pass undetected by guards(and make them suffer for their stupidity shortly after) and so on
This game is really addictive for the 26-28 hours it lasts(that's how long my playthrough was)
But you still would have to make some reaaaaly good searching if you want to have enough materials to be a True Evil Power:))
Just that excitement you got in you when retrieving a hive is super great!
Gnarl has already gone into my mind making me repeat his awefuly funny but true proverbs:)
