Excellent arcade racer and cheap!

I remember the days when I went to the arcade just to play the classic outrun. I sucked at it but it was the only machine there that had a steering wheel and gearshift. That was long ago but the memory remained.

When I saw Outrun 2k6 in the bargain bin for only 9€ I couldn't resist. I wasn't expecting much. And luckely so cause, to be honest, the graphics in this game are very last gen (it is a xbox port so no real suprise there). The music quickly got on my nerves too. Putting on some of my own mp3's in the background helped a lot there.

Then why 8/10 you might ask? The answer lies in the very addictive gameplay. It's simple to learn but hard to master and I keep finding myself going back to this game time and time again. In that regard it a lot like the original outrun.
