Take Gears of War, throw in some bland & meaningless looter-shooter mechanics, add a sprinkle of hilariously bad dialog, and BAM--you have Outriders. Solid gunplay with broken cover mechanics and a weak backstory do little to elevate this disappointing pew-pew beyond the status of a bargain bin special, like Game Pass.
Avoid unless you play it for "free."
