New horror game what make you jump out of your skin.
And I really have fun playing this. We´ve got Silent hill or Resident evil or Siren. But Outlast is more scarier, thanks to envitvorent. We have some awesome and original stuff like videocamera, this is really great stuff and that nightvision what you have is very good and spooky, you see anemies eyes glowing in distance and it´s make you feel like in good found footage movie like Grave encounters(yes i like this movie:-)). Another cool thing is opening door, when you can just look a little bit and avoid thanks to this danger. Yes ve´we already got that from Silent hill series(like Downpour or Shatteed memories) but here is sometimes really helpfull.
Then we got some other things but i think it´s pretty unecessary, like watching behind my character while I running. It´s ok but I dont use that too much.
Graphic is great. This is Indie game. So I dont expect some graphic orgy, but I almost have orgams from that graphic. It´s suprisingly good.
Now what little bit disapoint me is ending. Dont get me wrong, story is good and I read every confidential papers what I found, but ending was little disapointing. I expect this ending from beginning, but it´s just... I dont know ending is not scary thanks to new enemies, and I just want go again to Asylum.
Enemies are good, it´s just wierd when you cant grab some stupid wood or brick and smash enemies. But again thanks to this make you feel you are really prey and you can just run. So enemies are good, there´s just like 3 types but that doesnt matter too much(what you exept in Asylum:-)). Some characters is good but there´s no too much space for them. And even our hero have probably syndrom Gordon Freemans. He never talks, what it´s shame because I cant related for him too much.
I just finish here overall it´s one of the best horror games, yes either this game have flaws and some glitches, but it´s really good and if you want get scared.... This is that game what you wanted.
