What Gamespot Users have to say about Orphen: Scion of Sorcery

I seem to have liked it better than everyone else.

Not too sure why, but I seem to have seen something in this game that everyone else missed, or maybe the other way around. Anyway, the game is based on the anime series, which I actually haven't gotte...

I want so much to say I liked it, but I can't. There are too many annoying flaws in Orphen to consider it a good game

Ohhhh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. I want to say I liked this game. It seemed so interesting at a glance that I almost was fooled into calling it good. After repeated plays, I realized a very ugly t...

The graphics are aweful and the gameplay is rubbish but underneath it all is a great story waiting to come out.

Orphen is a game that I believe is overlooked due to it's abysmal reviews in magazines. It was the first game I ever had for the PS2 and there's a reason why it's still on my shelf. Story Or...

So i was in my local gamestop and came across this game, i thought it seemed interesting but don't judge a book by its cover, or a game. Anyway i headed back home with it in hand an poped it in the ol...

If people wanted to watch anime the could go the store buy a dvd and avoid the horribly broken gameplay of Orphen.

It really isn't fair to call Orphen a game. One can more accurately describe it as a bunch of decent looking anime slides tied together with uniteresting, broken "gameplay". Combat is lackluster, conf...

    What is this?

    Rated on October 07, 2006 by dorkod_x

Not much here, but the game relies too much on it's story, that's boring. You're mainly fighting bosses and monsters when it actually happens. Basically, you're just running, jumping through obstacles...

Orphen: Scion of Sorcery may have some flaws but the game is still fun to play.

    Rated on August 19, 2007 by theUNstopable13

Many players, including GameSpot, thought that Orphen: Scion of Sorcery was just a jacked up game but they probably only just looked at the cover, played it for 30 minutes and gave up playing it, for ...

    Pure Crap.

Ok, I have been waiting to rip this game apart for everyone to see. The Game's story (if you can call it a story) revolves around Orphen a Sorcerer with an attitude problem. Him and a cast of characte...

Very, very few people have ever heard of this game and its not hard to see why. This is just another game in a saturated market of RPGs that nobody really cares for. You play as a sorcerer that has...

    An Awesome Game

    Rated on December 16, 2008 by apie123

Orphen: Scion of Sorcery was the first PlayStation 2 game to really amaze me with its graphics. Sure, I noticed sweet things in other games: physics, realism and detail PlayStation could never pull of...
