Jacques makes his way through the past using the gauntlet he just received to absorb soul and weapons he finds. He starts out with and oni whip then to the half whip, half sword of fire. After that he upgrade to a spear that uses the power of lightning. Then the powerful ball and chain that has ice powers. He also acquires some guns and the ultimate whip which is the strongest weapon. He is also accompanied by a fairy named Ako that has the ability to travel through time and transport objects.
Samanosuke, who has always been equipped with the gauntlet, starts with a sword. Then a pair of sword with the power of light. Then another long sword of wind energy. After an axe of earth power. Lastly a bow. There is also others that you can find hidden that are from the previous games. You get help through out the game from Jacques fiance. At some points in the game you play as her and get to use a large amount of fire power to fight off genma.
I believe this is the best onimusha game out. It has great game play and a wonderful storyline to entertain. There is even parts that require thinking your the people out there that like to challenge their mind when playing video games. This is a for sure rent and definitely a buy for any onimusha fan.
