A game with a moving and emotional storyline, and a intense variety of cool opponents, and a fun combat system!

User Rating: 7 | Oni PC
In it's time, this game wasn't very well known, even being from the popular company "Bungie", that made games such as "Halo", and the "Marathon" series. This game amazingly survived the test of time still being sold, especially after Bungie created the Halo series, one would have thought that it's popularity would have wiped out Oni completely in comparison of fame. But no, the game is around, pretty rare, but I still see a copy now and again. You know it's not just some backwater no name beat-em up game after it's cover is still faced on a shelf in a gamestop after Halo. Don't deny it, there certainly is a reason Bungie didn't chop it up and sell pieces to other companies. Oni is a fun and adventurous game with a Japanese comic book setup/layout that is packed to the brim with skull cracking, bullet showering, badguy tackling, ninja flipping ACTION!

The Good:
Awesome soundtrack.
Incredible plot.
Dozens of cool executable combat moves.
Robot Ninjas (ftw).
Creative and fun weapons.
Fun cheats let you be any character in the game.
Really cool villains.

The Bad:
Insufferable door unlocking puzzles.
Cliff-hanger ending.
Terrible AI.
Not the best graphics (even in it's time).
Confusing controls for combat.
Occasional bugs and glitches that interrupting your gameplay.
Redundant gameplay (big one).

I hope you like my review, after all I do recomend this game, but only for people that are tolerant for not the best graphics and redundant gameplay. Cheers.
