Alright game, except for the boxy graphics and frustraiting areas

User Rating: 7 | Oni (Platinum) PS2
--PROS--
Fun gameplay; Great storyline; Decent voice acting; Long and challenging levals; Two alternate final bosses
--CONS--
Graphics look like they come from a PSX game; Lack of music in most parts; You sometimes reach a Save-spot when your health is very low (Which can be a REAL pain!); Game gets VERY frustraiting near the end

Today, I'm going to talk about a little game called "Oni" And in my opinion, It's one of the most memorable games in the PS2 library. In fact, I think it's one of the very first games ever released for the PS2, it's a pretty decent game at that. It's challenging, fun, long, and epic. The storyline is awesome, and beating the living snot out of enemies is just plain fun! Although there are a couple things I didn't really like about this game, first of all, the graphics make the game look like it's a 1997 Playstation game (But who cares? Can't judge a novel by it's cover right?) and the lack of music makes this game kinda boring when there's no enemies to kick-ass.... I think the main problem I have with this game is when you reach a Save-point in a stage and your health is critical, then I'm pretty much screwed... Especialy when there's a whole bunch of enemies around. But that doesn't happen all the time... So, final verdict: This is a very great game, so next time you go to E.B. Games or GameStop, keep an eye out for this game!
