The One Piece manga has become an excellent hit around the world. It has become more popular my producing anime, video games, shirts and other merchandise. The story of this video game begins that Luffy's friend sacrifices his life to save Luffy and the StrawHat Pirates. The games sound and character speech are all Japanese, there are English subtitles to guide you. In the first chapter, you set sail on your ship, the Thousand Sunny. On the ship you can save your progress, equip items from your storage, change costumes, cook, develop new items and much more. The controls of the game are quite simple. The nunchucks analogue is how you move. Each character has his/her own special attack and basic attacks. The game screen features HP, SP : used for special attacks and sprinting. Along your journey, you can collect items and ingredients for item-making and cooking. Special requirements are needed for each item. The enemies frequently spawn around you as you pass certain areas. The bad thing about the enemies is that they seem like they are just waiting to be kicked at or sliced. Although there are different enemies with different attacks, each one of them stick too close to each other, seeming that you do more hit combos by attacking the gang of them. Throughout the game you can use your pick-axe to find treasure, or your bug net to catch bugs and same them into your database. You can also 'fish' for fish and other marine life. Once you have finished fishing, you can save them into your database, or put them into your aquarium. You can also use fish for cooking. Another good point about this game is that you level up your attacks so that they become stronger, and also learn new moves. Sometimes the maps can get a little frustrating, as sometimes the sand cliffs are too steep and you cannot get up. Overall, I rate this game a 8.5 / 10
