Okami, a game about a wolf, a brush, and a bug thing named Issun. Genius!
Story: In this game you play as a wolf named Okami (which means wolf) Amaterasu (Sun god), and you have your sidekick "The wandering artist" Issun. Ammy (Amaterasu) and Issun are on a quest to stop the world from falling into darkness. So you must restore beauty, happiness, and color back to Nippon, where they are currently inhabiting.
Characters:
Okami Amaterasu: You play as her. The wolf incarnation of the sun god of Japan. She is the protagonist, and the mother to all.
Issun: Well, he's a little thing with a glowing green aura. He calls himself "The wandering artist" and wants to use the Celestial Brush techniques, and master them.
The Wood Sprite Sakuya: She is the protector of the Konahana Tree in Kamiki village. She was able to protect the village from the disaster that looked like it would destroy all of Nippon. She also revived Ammy, from the stone encasement she was in.
Mr. and Mrs. Orange: Mr. Orange is the town elder, and is loved by the whole village, while Mrs. Orange is the one who does the laundry all day, and cooks at night.
The "Great" Warrior, Susano: He says he is the descendant of Nagi (A god) and constantly says that. He thinks he is doing all of the fighting, but it is actually Ammy using the Celestial Brush.
The Sake Brewer, Kushi: She is the bar owner in Kamiki. She is the only nice person to Ammy, and she always pats Ammy.
Basic Controls: You shake the Wii remote to attack, and use it to draw things while using the Celestial Brush.
Music/sound: Very catchy music helps pass on the traditional Japanese feel of the game, the sound effects are also good.
All in all this game is very, very fun and you'll be hooked on it the second you start playing. I love it, and probably will too.
