NPPL Championship Paintball Breakout 2009 Gameplay Movie 1

Going off of what I just said, i'm just a little sick of getting the same sports game each year with little to no improvements; the same modern warfare shooters that are just slightly different from each other. Energy meters, lens fog, tap reload to do a quick reload behind cover or hold reload to hold your pod on your hopper while you fire. It needs controls that will make for a highly competitive game. Have some solid online servers and bam, you have yourself a breath of fresh air in this industry that (these days) only seems to be putting out 6th, 7th, 8th, etc. installments of the same game.

I'm telling you, this game could be just as fun as any tony hawk, dave mirra, sean white, etc games. This is an extreme sport. All it needs is a developer with some balls (pun intended) to make a solid 3rd person paintball shooter with awesome graphics. The FPS market is too saturated right now. Although 3rd person shooters give you the advantage to look around cover without exposing yourself, there are so many ways to make this work. Market the hell out of it and you have a widely accepted video game. There is the downside that people like Oliver Lang aren't extremely well known like the few faces I first listed, but with proper marketing it wouldn't matter. I have so many ideas, I wish I could have a sit down with a decent studio about this. I'm confident in its potential.

for all of you who are wondering this is the only good paintball game known to man besides thhe real thing. if you ever played another paintball game thiis makes those look like a preschooler made them.

there was that greg hasting paintball I think is what it was. It was on Ps2 when i played it but it was like CoD only with paint. Hopefully this 1 is just as good if not better. I played WaW on wii dam was it fun getting to aim. I'm buying this for sure. Hopefully it works with the wii zapper that would be fun.

This game looks ok, if you enjoy the sport of paintball than by all means invest into it. Also paintball is a sport as well as chess, football, soccer, etc. As far as spending the $60 on gear instead of the game, why is it any of your business what i do with my money. You could also pick up a cheap weapon and pretend your playing GTA, but i don't suggest such a thing. I thought video games were about having fun, not mindless hating, id like 2 see the haters voice their opinion in the real world, but i guess it's easier to stay behind a keyboard.

I agree with Stegr. You can say it's not a real sport all you want but ive played football, lax and paintball during my life. Football and Lacrosse may have pre play strategy but once the play is actualy in motion theres no coordination other then "I'm open!" or sticking with the pre play plan. With paintball theres a whole other level of teamwork with breakouts and actualy communicating whilst being shot at. I myself am a woodsballer and I think theres more strategy there then there is indoors but others may disagree. I'm just waiting for a really good woodsball game to come out. And to everyone saying why don't we go play some paintball. Why don't you go join the military instead of sitting on COD4 all day?

Awesome, looks a little to fast past, but im sick of playing GH, so I will buy this. If you don't think paintball is a real sport, then you have never played a serious game of paintball. There is just as much strategy, running, and skill involved in paintball than there is in any other sport. And it has more of those three things than baseball. So all you haters out there, go swing at some balls.

To all the haters: You guys must not play paintball, at least not competitively. There are hundreds of thousands of paintballers, and I am willing to bet most of them would enjoy this game. Like audio972 said, this is not a major title, so stop treating it like one. Anyone like me who plays in a tournament series is thinking about getting this game. check the sales of this game in a month, I bet you will be surprised. As long as this game gets around a 7.0 I am getting it. Most people who play will add 1.5 to the ratting on tilt alone.

To all you people that are talking crap on this game, I dont see why you criticize this game. Paintball games (in my opinion) were always fun and something to do when I dont have the money to play. I mean seriously, its not like this was a HUGE title like mgs4 or bad company, its just another game to have fun with. I like how metallica42425 said "why don't these lazy fat asses just go outside and actually play paintball?" I am not a lazy f at ass and I am getting this game. I cant afford to play paintball everyday (Because I work 40+ hours a week). I personally think that the shaun white game looks retarded. Why dont you lazy fat asses just go snowboard down a huge mountian. snowboarding games were cool (and got really lame) on the PS one system and should have stayed on there.

oh, and i hope my Mini is in here. i love that gun. probably see everyone with EGOS online, yelling about how epic they are and how they have one themselves... i dont look forward to that.

i dont know about you guys, but theres this season called winter here, and that shuts down the paintball place here. That means, i can turn to a game to get my fix (a little at least) for the season. those who say put the money towards gear...i laugh. $60 is nothing in paintball gear, so to cough it up for a video game will be easy enough for the true paintballer. SamirElrasoul is right. $60 will get you a decent case of paintballs. i onlyuse 1.5 cases a week, thats $90/weekly...i can buy this game. the paintballers can too. dont knock it before it comes out. it looks to be the best paintballing game out yet, although, thats not saying much. LOL.

@JACKAL1883--cause gear is not that cheap and $60 is the price for good paintballs Looks actually really really good. This might take greg hasting out. Make your own arena, real gear (brand names), and set what you want your AI to do......hmmm seems very well constructed. Cant wait to see more. Also don't jump to conclusion that it will be $60 cause games like these usually have a price tag of $40, $50 tops. But we will see.
