An awesome idea on shooters, this is a shooter you just gotta have...
Raiden, Twin Cobra, Twin Eagle, 1942, 1943, Raptor, Star Gunner, Thunder Force, and many others.
But, back during the DOS days, this shooter came out and I was so into it. This is one of those rare shooters that, even though is just a shooter, it will get you to want to play more and more.
GRAPHICS
=========
First off, understand that is was a DOS game, so the graphics are in 320x200. But, despite the low grade graphics, it still very well detailed and the animations are very very smooth. What makes this shooter so different is that it takes advantage of the full-motion-video for the backgrounds and the boss battles are very unique. Understand, you should not count this game out just because the graphics are a bit low grade, this is not what you will get you to play this game.
CONTROL
=========
This is the plus in the game. The game play and controls is flawless. The controls are very smooth and it reacts perfectly to your commands. All commands can be modified to your needs in the options menu. Most of the controls are pretty straight forward, but like I said, you can change then to your ideal settings. The simplicity can't be better than this.
OVERALL
========
You will get a full enjoyment of this game for sure. Although it's DOS, you will still love to play this game. I have owned this game ever since it came out and I still enjoy playing this game, even today. If you still own your copy of DOS or even WINDOWS 98 SE, this game is a must have for your collection. I just hope you can find a copy for yourself. :)
