Do you have to rebuy homes?

When you buy a house that coast $$$ and you buy another one that coast $$$, too, do you have to rebuy the prevous house once more?
ex.
I buy the Mario House. Then i want the Luxary Home, so I buy. Then if i want to move back in will i have to rebuy the Mario House?

Sadly, I just bought the Japanese House. Then i went to go back to Mario, but i had to pay another $4,000 to rebuild it. I think that's why the houses are so cheap in this game, you have to rebuy!

I believe home/room styles are treated like in the DS predecessors, meaning once you've bought it - it's yours. So, there's no point to rebuy a room style once you have it, it's just afterwards choosing which one you want to go with at the time...

Realy I havent bought any other houses because I like mine. I checked out the other houses and they were expensive. I think you should stick with the house that you already have.
