The ONLY football game where playing around a dead body is normal.

Nintendo World Cup Soccer is one of the best football games ever. Rivaled only by Mario Smash Football and Fifa 98. You start off by playing Cameroon. My record is 56-0. But then the teams get better based on World Rankings in 1991. Spain are surprisingly low. All the teams have characteristics based on the country. Mexico have those sombrero hats. The control system is simple. A to pass and B to shoot. D-Pad to run a bout. When you don't have the ball, A to command team mates to tackle. B to command team mates to punch others. When it's time to shoot, if you do it right you can do a super shot. Enough of these will kill the enemy keeper. He won't stay dead though.

Graphics- 8/10
Good sprites, which are identical to the NES version and River City Ransom. However, the game just randomly decides to glitch sometimes. the sprites go all fuzzy but then they are fine.

Gameplay-10/10
It's football (Soccer, whatever. The English invented it and they called it football, not soccer.) It's 100 times more violent than Fifa ever will be. I mean, when was the last time you ran around a dead body when playing football. NEVER! Sure, Mario Smash Football has weapons, but none of them die.

Sound- 9/10
Irritating little tunes but the sound effects are great.

Value-8/10
It's fun at first, then you'll get bored of it... then you'll play it again.. and the cycle goes on...

The best football game on GB. Find it cheap and it's win win!!
