I love the Pikmin mini game. It looks so fun

While I enjoy most of the source material this game draws from, I can't say the prospect of a shallow party game excites me. I would rather have the full experience, not mini games based on games and franchises I love.

I love the concept of it being attractions in a themepark

After watching this trailer I can only say... WTF is Nintendo thinking?????

I mean, a trailer with what could clearly be Wii footage judging by the quality of graphics, showing that there is absolutely nothing interesting or useful happening in the touchscreen, all wrapped up with a rheumatic  soundtrack. I want to believe in the WiiU, but it's becoming a much tougher sell tha the Wii ever was (I'm a happy Wii owner, by the way, although mainly a PC gamer).

 @makryu

you should turn your wii on for a second and play a game for a couple of mins..... because the wii u graphics are clearly better then the wii..... they may not be earth shattering but still clearly better then the wii.....

@translucent17 I'm at 116 hours of playtime in Xenoblade right now. Apart from not being HD, I think it looks better than anything in this Nintendo Land game.

@translucent17  @makryu Graphics don't matter at all when you are playing a game like Nintendo Land...this game might as well be on the Virtual Boy...and I'm not even sure it qualifies as a game. It is more like a goofy joke than anything else.

I think it's a good game for its genre. This will fully utilized the Gamepad experienced just like the Wii did to their Wii Sports. ^_^

@Gelugon_baat  @makryu My head was too in the clouds but the hype and excitement slowly fading I'm realizing this is just a Wii 2 with HD ; party games, more party games, and a few exclusives designed for kids. My head is now on the ground  where those mushrooms are growing. I'm giving Nintendo a chance to win me back if they release at LEAST 5 great games..and by great I don't mean the Lego franchise, Pikmin, Nintendo Land and games that are already out on other platforms. I would settle for a simple resident evil, a Killer Instinct, a tiny Zelda and a Dragon Quest.

just cuz there is a few kid games doesnt mean there wont be good games like assasins creed 3 and stuff

It is obviously amazing. The Metroid game looks awesome. And they still haven't even announced all the games yet. They confirmed that there are 12. They only showed 9.

It looks pretty shallow ... but I have this weird, unshakable urge to play it for hours on end.

It almost seems as if Nintendo is starting to move away from their adult fanbase and move over to the younger generation that never grew up with nintendo

@PJonas This actually appeals to adults just as much as kids. What it doesn't appeal to is teenagers who all feel that if its not full of blood and swearing then it's not worth playing.

xolivierx
xolivierx

@Lazerith91  @PJonas I disagree. This game is GREAT for kids as it's fun and not violent. But for me to play Nintendo Land is like playing a game of Solitary with a deck of card instead of playing another board game that is a lot more fun. I grew up with the 8 bit and master system and even in the 80s we had games of more ''mature taste''. By that I don't mean blood. It's just the Nintendo market is overflowed with party games. Well I'm sorry but not everybody likes goofy party games of medium quality. When is this Tsunami of party game going to crash!?¿ It can be nice to play a ''light'' game such as Rayman or Mickey, but Nintendo Land, really? Once you have played Wii sports and Wario Smooth moves, there can't really be anything worthy of interest in terms of party games, because it's all the same.

@xolivierx I disagree with your disagreement. Assuming you are actually an adult, just because you do not find this kind of stuff entertaining does not mean that the majority of mature adults don't (and you really don't state a reason saying otherwise. Your whole comment was about you and not about the majority like I was talking about). And for the record. Solitaire (which I'm assuming is what you meant by solitary...) is an extremely popular card game. Not to mention you compared a single player card game to board games which are usually meant for more than one person which will almost always be funner.

I'm a little sad that now I have absolutely no interest in playing Nintendo Land.  It's just a new kind of Wii Sports people will play a few times then discard.

Looks pretty good for a game I'll be getting for free with my Deluxe bundle :)

@Superzone It should be free because this is really the kind of crap someone plays because they don't have the money to buy games.

@ABEzilla116  @evil-zodiark I personally think people that will buy the deluxe will go to a store one week after purchase to exchange Nintendo Land for money or for another game. That is what I would do because a game should not be designed to collect dust and that is what this game is for.
