This is an okay game, but could do much, much better. Hardcore gamers only.

User Rating: 6 | Ninja Reflex WII
Contrary to popular opinion, Ninja Reflex is not a game. No, seriously, it's literally a reflex-training class. Here's the jist: You are a ninja (you get to choose your name from a fairly large name-custimization screen, which is nice) who is training under an unnamed sensei to hone his reflexes. That's it. No storyline other than that. Maybe I'm not being fair, as ninja reflex provides a few good minigames that will put your skills to the test. There are six total games, and you must complete all the challenges for 5 of your choice. Then, you can go on to a "belt test", where the sensei will choose 3 random minigames, giving you a letter grade for your performance in each. If your average grade is C- or higher, you pass. Nothing really intuitive, but good nontheless. The game's meditation mode is slick, as sensei actually guides you through a one-minute long session. The game's got multiplayer too, which aren't radically different from the main story, (you take turns and whoever gets the highest score wins) but it's fun to show your chops catching fish and owning papyrus ninja paintings in front of your buddies. All in all, rent first to see if it's your thing, then buy it for real if you like it. May the spirits of your ancestors go with you!
