Ninja Gaiden Sigma User Review

- "Underappreciated"
Then this is it! I don't know what I can say about this game since I've only made it to chapter 3. But I'll try my best...
So I take it this is a reboot of the Ninja Gaiden series with a young Ryu Hayabusa. It is pretty much the same Ninja Gaiden that was released for the Xbox, only Tecmo placed the Sigma title on it so they could make it for the PS3. If you loved Ninja Gaiden back in the old days because it was hard, then this one won't disappoint! You get different weapons to use as long as you find them and magic/ninpo I think it was called that you can use to help you against different enemies.
The graphics look like a well oiled animated cartoon which is a good thing on the PS3 since its in High res, it runs on both 1080p and 720p. The camera angels however are pretty bad but some people can get by them. You also only get enemies after entering rooms, no longer you get waves after wave of enemies like on the Xbox. On the PS3 version you get to play an additional character called Rachel who is more of a "tank" class kind of character. She moves slow and has a big weapon so she isn't really as fun to play as Ryu unless you just love looking at her.... Anyways, this game is still a must have if you can get past the difficulty. If you've never played it on the Xbox or even if you want to play it on both consoles. It may also be hard to find now since its so old. But if you do find it, grab it if you like button mashing action arcade style games.
I think this game is unappreciated because of its "legendary difficulty"
