To be honest, my first experience with a ninja gaiden was this game. It became kinda fuzzy to start the story (which I regret) in the end of the nes serie.

Ninja gaiden shows a kickas ninja who tries to defend the worl from an ancient ship of doom.

The game is a solid platformer. You have yout trusty sword and with several items to throw, you embark to stop the world conquer.

At the end of each stage, you have a small cinema display, which explains what the hell is happening. The idea of having story well planned is nice, and having a real story is 10 times better.
