Mission mode as DLC is a swindle!

The fantastic thing about NG:B was its replayability - the Mission mode in particular kept me coming back to it. The addition of Mission mode was a big success and was a great way to test the players skills outside the story mode. It worked so well that it was obviously going to be in the sequel. However, it's not on the disc. Having to pay for DLC that was clearly intended to a part of the whole right from the beginning is terrible.

Without the Mission mode, the player is left with the story mode. It's a shame that the story is weak - the levels seem only tenuously related; a chance to play through different environments without much tying them together. It is not something I find inclined to revisit.

New weapons - great fun, especially the dual-wielded ones
New nimpo - not that great, the targeting system feels out of place
New enemies - initially fun but predictable before long

Biggest con - Mission mode as DLC!!
