With Dragon Sword in hand, Ryu returns to deliver a heaping helping of pain, death, brutality and dismemberment.

And, a side order of insane spectacle as well. Ninja Gaiden 2 was one of the first games I decided to get when, I got a 360. I said to myself: "I've got to at least try it! maybe it won't take me 2 weeks to get past the first 3 levels this time!" I was right... Unfortunately...

I like this game but, veterans of the dragon sword, lunar staff, and Vigoorian Flails will be surprised at how fast they can plow through wave after wave of enemies this time around, without breaking that much of a sweat... Until you face off with the bosses...

Now, maybe its just me, but if you know what to expect and, have mentally trained yourself to be prepared for what is in store, you should have no problem. Those who went through the Ninja Gaiden grinder of humiliation, will be kind of caught off guard. Because, the game isn't that hard! Yes. I dare to say it... It is easier than the last 3! (Ninja Gaiden, Black and Sigma) That might be a little disappointing to the veterans but, the newbies and casual players will rejoice.

Most of that is helped by the new additions to the weapons you have. its no wonder you can unlock an achievement for just running through the whole game using one weapon! Even with the higher difficulty setting options, you will still find this game less of a pain. That is good, in a way. I also found the game a little shorter than the last adventure. But considering how much work they put into the visuals, design and, overall HD production, I can understand.

the biggest problem I had was the camera. That's just a small gripe however. So, overall, Ninja Gaiden 2 is still hardcore but not as hardcore as it once was. But, it might be A different experience for some other players. And, Well deserved spot in your game collection.
