One of the greatest games of all. An improvement on an already superb and instant classic game. The original was amazing and this one is even better. More weapons, more different types of enemies, an easier difficulty mode for the beginners, a special mode where you take part on varying missions of difficulty and enemies, varied costumes and all the difficulty that is needed for master players. Visuals, animations, actions, movies, stories, secrets, voice acting and environments are all fantastic, whist the dialogue is a little cliche at times and unoriginal. Great character abilities and good to awesome enemy deaths. Defense is key along with all of the techniques and the right weapons for total victory. The higher the difficulty the more true this statement becomes. There is also an increase in save slots from 10 to 30 and the doppelganger fights are some of the best in the game but only encountered on hard difficulty and above which requires beating the game on normal to unlock and each difficulty thereafter to become a true master ninja. On a side note, each difficulty requires that you start over from the beginning with nothing brought over from your previous victory short of a costume change. The final difficulty of master ninja which few will arrive at is the single greatest challenge of one's gaming skills and mental strength due to optional battles which seem to have no end yet are required for certain rewards and bonuses that either came easier or could be purchased on normal difficulty.
