To call this installment of the Ninja Gaiden series an Disappointment, would be an Understatement...

It would be like calling Adolf Hitler a jerk or calling Kim Kardashian greedy for Attention. O.M.G... I damn near never ever use Acronyms... But, O.M.G. and to put it mildly, W.T.F! Team Ninja was meant to show us that even though they lost the alpha dog producer Tomonobu Itagaki, they can STILL make an awesome game. Guess they missed that memo...

They were meant to show us that the graphics have change but, the core game-play, strategy, weapons, dismemberment, enemy A.I, over all awesomeness and Tough love difficulty, that EVERYONE that played N.G from way back to the NES days, which fans love (and sometimes hate) is still here and dominate. They missed that memo too...

But, they managed to get the memo that said, dumb the game down to the point, where even a 6 year old can beat it by just pressing that the X button, sadly... I could forgive the lack of dismemberment. (yeah, I said it.) Even though and this point in the series, fans have come to expect that. I could even go as far as forgiving the fact, that you only have one real weapon and, one ninpo.

I could even forgive the fact that most of the human enemies you face are all British... and, get scared to the point where they run away and coward at your shadow. However, that would have been more satisfying if they didn't take away the other stuff that was awesome and, added God of war elements that aren't even that polished.

Cinematic wise, it was brilliant! But it felt over used especially in combat. I feel sorry for the camera... It felt like the game was on auto pilot... Even on the higher difficulty settings, the game is still a breeze for more hardcore games to play! The Ninja Gaiden from memory was a ball buster! The new Team Ninja producer says Ninja Gaiden 3 isn't dumbed down to please newcomers.

Team Ninja isn't planning to offer a toned down gameplay experience. Yosuke Hayashi during an interview with Edge, said: NG3 will be a hard game for "the people who want it." Well, Maybe I got a bad copy of the game then... Good news is that it isn't all bad. The multiplayer is entertaining and, the boss battles can thrilling and fun. I think The studio was trying to cash in on the same fame that made God of war and Bayonetta famous, catering to a larger crowd... but walking that path, they managed to the exact opposite, disappointing both the hardcore and the newbies. Oh well... there is always hope for a Sigma title...
