Ninja Gaiden III, where can one start. Well it is nothing like Ninja Gaiden I or II in terms of everything. Ninja Gaiden I and II never had much for story telling, but that was ok, because never at a point did it distract from the gameplay and the combat was so indepth, story was just a way to send Ryu from one end of the world to an other. Ninja Gaiden III however feeds you emotionless story after emotionless story moments that try to give emotion. It is almost an awkward feeling when the game expects you to feel something but you don't really feel anything.

As an addition, the combat is not the same at all. Quick time events and one button combat and kind of unintelligent AI makes for a simple easy game. Not saying that easy games aren't bad, but there is no reward system in Ninja Gaiden III. Previous game you had a huge feeling of satisfaction for taking down on the big boss. Here the big bosses, are quick time events.

I am not telling you not to go out and buy this game, I am saying be really careful with this purchase. $60 is a lot of money to spend on a game like this, even when there is games like this that do combat really good.
