Petition for playable Rachel in Razor's Edge

Yeah peoples, I got some on friends list planning on emailng and messaging them about adding Rachel. Let's request Rachel for Chapter Challenge and Ninja Trials.

Requests, Rachel images, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma games references could help get the point across. They can't accept requests really, but in the form of a question, people can get the point across there is a significant demand for Rachel in this gameplay. =D
Can't seem to find Yosuke Hayashi's twitter, that could be a good source to add Rachel fan awareness to them.

I am certain Rachel will be in the game they just have yet to announce her. They cant blow their entire load on the announcement for PS3/360 version.
Gotta save something to hype it up further, which reminds me there hasn't been a trailer for this version yet. I would bet a Rachel announcement will happen alongside a new trailer for this port.
But hey, this petition will let them say that they are paying attention to fans when they were just gonna put her in the game anyway

Oh yea Rachel fans should let Team Ninja know everyway they can. I think twitter is better than facebook because twitter is more direct and personalized whereas facebook is one big flood of a board that they might not look into as frequently. Twitter is more like a personalized comment/suggestion box.

I'm all for Rachel being in this game! As an unlockable character or as DLC, I don't care, as long as she's in this game. I love playing as her in the Sigma games. They put Kasumi in RE and she had nothing to do with the story, so there's no reason why they can't add Rachel in it because she's been in the previous games.

There's about a month left before the game is release and anything can happen, but realistically speaking it ain't gonna happen, TN won't bother to add anything else other than the 5 added costumes and 25 Ninja Trials.

Before the announcement, people had no idea if PS3 and Xbox360 would receive Razor's Edge at all. (people made a guess, but without official news, it's just a theory before announcement / leaks.)
Before the Kasumi announcement, people had no idea if she would be made playable
in Razor's Edge.
Before the Momiji announcement, people had no idea if she would be added to
Razor's Edge.
Before the Razor's Edge announcement, people have no idea what the NG3 version
would be called and on what platform.
It's still a little too early to assume they showed everything they plan to add to Razor's Edge.
They could have secrets saved for March reveals.

It was already hinted by Hayashi that they were trying to bring RE's content to other consoles to have all NG fans happy and also it was announce that the Wii U version of NG3 was getting DLC characters though they didn't said which characters, but it was obvious which characters were going to be(Momiji, Ayane, though I was counting more on Rachel than Kasumi)

I think the fact they put in a new character OVER simply adding Rachel in, proves they won't be adding her. I think after Razor's Edge launches for Ps360, that will be it for content.

^This, I'd love to see Rachel in RE as much as the next guy, but I don't see it happening they would probably had to re-worked on her moveset and maybe give her a complete new one and all that crap, new voiceover and whatnot and right now TN has other projects like DOA 5 Plus and DLC for it and probably more DLC DOA 5 so adding a new character might be a hassle for them.

The only problem I see with Rachel being in this game is that this game is full of falcon dives. It seems in every chapter there's always a falcon dive. Let's not forget about the kunai climb either. It would be weird seeing Rachel do a falcon dive since she's not really a ninja. Same goes for kunai climb, I don't recall Rachel carrying any kunai with her. Don't get me wrong I love Rachel. I want her to be in this game really bad, but the only way for that to happen is if TN redesigns the stages where you don't have to do a falcon dive or kunai climb with Rachel. But I doubt TN are gonna go through with reworking the stages just for one character.

Well, she does have that grappling hook thingy on her right wrist which she uses to move up on places, but like you say they would probably have to redesign the stages or something to make it work and I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem for her to use the falcon dive as well after all she does the "running wall" on NGS2 even though she isn't a ninja.

Rachel doing a falcon dive would look fine. It's a videogame, it doesn't have to make sense, especially in modes like Chapter Challenge and Ninja Trials. Rachel's playability still adds more fun.
