Best.....Fighting.....Game......EVER.

User Rating: 9.8 | Ninja Gaiden XBOX
Ninja Gaiden is, in my opinion in the top four best games of all time along with Halo, Grand Theft Auto Double Pack and KOTOR. I have never seen better graphics or character designs in any game. I have played a lot of fighting games in my life, and this has to be the best one. you have over fifteen diferent weapons, each with over fifty moves and the fighting never gets boring. Many people are saying that the camera in the game is pretty bad, but for a game this fast, or for any game for that matter, its still pretty good. Sometimes, the camera gets a little annoying, but that will only be for a split second. The other fault that some people are saying Ninja Gaiden has is that it is very hard. I am just going to come out and say it, those people are panzies and are definitly not true gamers. That's not to say that the game isn't hard, but to say that that is a fault is just obsurd. Sure its hard, but if you play it enough, then it will become much more fun and you won't even notice its difficulty. If you are a hardcore gamer like me, then it shouldn't take you long to catch on to the gameplay. Its pretty straight foreward; "Put the pointy end into the other man." The one thing that other games discourage you from doing is blocking, but in Ninja Gaiden, you can't finish the game without it. If you go along playing it like a hack-n-slash game, you'll die in a second. You will never get tired of the fighting or the gameplay, or even the backround music. The story of Ninja Gaiden is also pretty good. Your clan has been destroyed, you have this special sword and are supposed to revenge your clan with it. You meet many characters through out the story including Ayane, the girl from DOA 3. The replay value in Ninja Gaiden is pretty good. You get to play the original three Ninja Gaiden games and there are different difficulty levels. On top of that, there is a Master Ninja mode that allows you to compete against other people around the world and see who can earn more points on a certain given level. As great as this game is, it isn't perfect. But then again, no game is. There are some small faults like Ryu never gets blood on him or the bad guys usually die in one or two different ways, but other than that, the game is really amazing. If you own an Xbox and don't own Ninja Gaiden (or Halo or GTA Double Pack or KOTOR) then you are truely sinning and you should go to confession right now. Then go to EB and get those games.
